To make an appointment for an evaluation or treatment, please call our office and we will schedule you with the appropriate doctor.
If you have a referral from another dentist or a physician, please bring any x-rays, MRIs, casts, pictures, appliances, retainers, or other items that may help us diagnose your problem or expedite treatment.

Insurance and Billing
Bethesda TMJ does not routinely file insurance claims for patients. However, at the completion of each visit, we generate an itemized bill with standard diagnostic and treatment codes that you can submit to your insurance company with your claim forms. We also provide pretreatment assessments and estimates when appropriate or on request.
We will answer any questions your insurance company may raise about diagnosis or treatment in an appropriate and timely manner, but it is important that you understand it is your responsibility to manage the relationship with your insurance company. We regret that because medical and dental insurance companies have become increasingly difficult to interact with, we have had to establish this policy so that we can focus on our primary responsibility of delivering high-quality professional dental services to you, our patients.
Payment Arrangements
We would appreciate your payment for services as you receive them. The office accepts cash, checks, Visa, and MasterCard.
Interest-free payment plans for certain types of treatment can be arranged over longer periods of time to accomodate a patient's budget and treatment schedule.

Medicare Patients
The doctors in our practice do not participate with Medicare. Most dental procedures, including orthotics, are not covered by Medicare or by some other insurance plans. Please contact your plan if you have questions.
