
Sarit Kaplan, DMD, MS, FACP, has extensive experience in the specialties of prosthetic and complex aesthetic dentistry. She has a particular interest in the diagnosis, treatment, and occlusal restoration of temporomandibular disorders. Dr. Kaplan is a board-certified prosthodontist, a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and a diplomate of the American Boards of Prosthodontists.
Education
Dr. Kaplan graduated from the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine of the Hebrew University in Israel. After practicing for several years in Israel, she continued her education at the University of Maryland, graduating in 2000 from their three-year postgraduate prosthodontic specialty program, as well as their Master of Science program.
Clinical Instructor
Dr. Kaplan is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Prosthodontic Residency Program in the University of Maryland Dental School where she instructs residents in treating the very complex prosthodontic patients.
Professional Recognition
She has published case studies in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Journal of the American Dental Association. Dr. Kaplan is President of the Maryland section of the ACP (American College of Prosthodontists).
